Tender Details

Individual Contract Terms of Reference Consultancy Title:PLHIV Forum Clinical FacilitatorApplication Deadline:6th September 2018 (11.59pm Fiji Time)Project Name:Multi-Country Western Pacific Integrated HIV/TB ProgrammeDuty Station:The consultant will be required to work remotely home based for 6 days and to be present in Nadi, Fiji for 3 days.Post Level:National / International ConsultantLanguages required:EnglishDuration of the Contract:Contract period: 17th September 1st November 2018Number of working days: 9 days (3 days in countrysion (95%), with varying shares of heterosexual versus male-to-male transmission between sub-regions (for example, Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia) and countries within sub-regions. HIV and STIs testing in the region has been primarily focused at pregnant women at antenatal clinics and also from voluntary confidential counselling and testing (VCCT) center's. There has been very little testing amongst the most vulnerable populations such as sex workers and their clients, men who have sex with men and transgender persons. The number of PLHA receiving ARTis even smaller 42 which is below the UNAIDS and Global Fund treatment targets aiming at universal coverage of all PLHA with ARV treatment. One of the critical issues in reporting the total number of people living with HIV on ART is the high rates of lost to follow up cases in the 11 supported GF PICs. This causes the MWP region to lag behind in the achievement of ourglobal HIV 90-90-90 targets by 2020. In 2016, a total of 30/74 (41%) cases were lost to follow. This was mainly due to the lack of patient profiling...
