Subject A. Background: the District of Squamish Owns Many Buildings that Are at Risk to Pests Due to Their Either Age or Easy Access Through Open Doors. B. Objective: the District of Squamish is Seeking Quotations from Qualified Companies to Maintain a Pest Control Program at the Buildings Listed Below. This is a 3-Year Contract Ending December 31St 2021. C. Scope of Work: to Provide a Comprehensive Pest Management Program Focusing on Control and Prevention of Rodents and Insects in and Around the District of Squamish Building Listed Below. Scheduled Monthly Visits will Include Inspection, Treatment and Maintenance Recommendations Yielding a Pest-Free Environment for Staff & Visitors of the District of Squamish. ? the Buildings to be Included Are: O Municipal Hall, 37955 Second Avenue O Rcmp, 1000 Finch Drive O Library, 37907 Second Avenue O Operations Works Yard 39909 Government Road O Valleycliffe Fire Hall 37890 Clarke Drive O Tantalus Fire Hall 40439 Tantalus Way ? Placement of Mouse/Rat Control Boxes Around the Perimeter of Each Building ? Monthly Checking/Maintenance of the Above Boxes ? Provision of a Monthly Report on Findings at Each Building ? Emergency Call Response for Treatment of Pest Issues - to Include But Not Limited to Wasps/Hornets, Silver Fish and Rats or Mouse Inside Buildings. D. Proposal Requirements: ? Please Include Costs for a Monthly Exterior Management Program Based on the Current Number of Pest Bait Boxes, Quote Per Building Separately. ? Please Include Separate Costs for Additional Treatments of Other Pests As Indicated Above. ? the Successful Proponent will Need to Provide a Squamish Business License, Proof of Insurance Coverage and Worksafe Bc Coverage. ? 1 Reference of Similar Work Including the Nature of the Project, Location, Contact Person Email and Phone Number May be Required. ? Applicants Must be a Member of the Structural Pest Management Association of Bc. ? Technicians Need to have a Structural General Certification. ? Please Indicate Any Other Qualifications. ?
