The Government of Azerbaijan Republic has received credit in the amount equivalent to US $100, 000, 000 from the IBRD toward theco st of the Third Rural Investment Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting and consulting services to be procured under this project.
The total amount ofthe Project is US $162, 900, 000together with the inve stment of the Borrower and Local Communities.The project will include the followingcomponents:Rural Livel ihoods and Infrastructure for Local Economic Development: will continue to providegrants to eligible communities to finance li velihoods and infrastructure sub-projects proposed by community groups. Allcommunity groups in rural rayons are eligible for grant funding under this component.
