The services to be performed concern carrying out a parking survey in the city of Ghent. The research area concerns the entire paying area and a zone around it, supplemented with some further zones in sub-municipalities and the park-and-rides. Within this assignment, an investigation into the parking situation on weekdays is carried out, as well as a similar investigation on Saturdays within a more limited area. The parking investigation includes registration (by means of a scanning vehicle with ANPR cameras or other similar systems) of the geographical position and license plate of all parked cars in the research area, creating overview images for support, converting the registrations into GIS data, checking and cleaning of the dataset, enriching the data, processing and analyzing the data, and drawing up a detailed report (tables, graphs, maps) that will ultimately be made available on the city website.
