Tenders are invited for Operation of the Halsa - Kanestraum public transport network
Short description : The Halsa-Kanestraum national road ferry service is scheduled to start operating in 2021. The contract period is set at 10 years, with an option of extension of up to 18 months. The offer is highlighted as a gross contract. AutoPASS is used as a payment system. Requirements for three zero-emission ferries, kaPassivity on each ferry must be 120 PBE. 95 percent of energy consumption should come from zero-emission technology. Operation is required even if the vessels do not receive power from land. Up to 5 per cent of annual energy consumption can therefore come from sustainable biofuel or LNG. The offer is increased by seven extrasaturday tours and four additional round trips on Sundays. On Saturdays during the high season there must be three ferries. There are requirements for reserve vessels of at least 80 PBE. There is an option for commissioning the spare vessel in normal operation if traffic increases more than expected.
