Description: With the resolution of the German Bundestag on the reorganization of reporting on research and innovation on June 22nd, 2006, the Federal Government is requested to submit reports on research, innovation and technological performance every two years from 2008 onwards, which are carried out by an independent group of renowned scientists and Women scientists are written and responsible. In the intervening years, brief reports on technological performance are also to be written. On August 23, 2006, the Federal Cabinet therefore decided to set up the Expert Commission for Research and Innovation (EFI), which is to provide ongoing and long-term scientific advice to the Federal Government on issues covering the entire spectrum of research and innovation policy.
