The national marine fisheries service, alaska fisheries science center, auke bay laboratories intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under the authority of far 13.106-1(b)(1), with offshore systems, inc., a small business under abl-19007.



The alaska fisheries science center (afsc), national marine fisheries service (nmfs), national oceanic & atmospheric administration (noaa), department of commerce (doc) is a government agency charged with the mission of stewardship for living marine resources. The center provides scientific and technical support to nmfs for the management, conservation, and wise use of the alaska region's marine and anadromous resources.



The national marine fisheries service, alaska fisheries science center, auke bay laboratories has a requirement to provide temporary storage and dockside services in dutch harbor, alaska. This award will be for recurring storage and transportation services to include: * temporary outside storage (including temporary placement of large 20 or40 ft containers); *temporary inside dry storage; * temporary product or specimen freezer storage: * forklift and driver service; * crane services to load and unload heavy or large equipment from the vessels; * mooring for government and government chartered vessels to load and unload; * dockside provisioning services; * transportation services.



The alaska fisheries science center (afsc) deployes a number of large-scale chartered and noaa vessel operations in support of fisheries, marine mammal and oceanographic research in areas ranging from the gulf of alaska to the bering sea and aleutian islands and points north.
