INTRODUCTION
Kainga Ora Homes and Communities is a new Crown agency that brings together the people, capabilities and resources of KiwiBuild, Housing New Zealand, and its development subsidiary HLC. This will enable a more joined-up approach to supporting the Government`s priorities for housing and urban development in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Kāinga Ora Homes and Communities is delivering more homes in regional New Zealand. As a part of this, we have a pipeline of construction activity coming up in the Dunedin region. We want to ensure that we are using local providers to partner with and deliver these homes and to support this we envisage approaching providers to join our Regional Development Panel from June 2020.
