The Government of the Republic de Guinee applied for and obtained a loan from the Islamic Bank of Deve(US $ 25 million) and intends to use part of this funding to cover the costs of services related to the project to support the development of technical and vocational schools in the Republic of Guinea. Project Objectives 2. The overall objective of the project is to provide the general population, especially women and young people, with vocational qualifications which enable them to enter the economic life, participate in the socio-economic development of the country and to fight effectively withpoverty and all forms of exclusion. 3. Specifically, the project is aimed at the training of technicians and technicians with the necessary qualifications to be competitive in the labor market in the fields of construction and trade related to mining.. This objective will be achieved through the construction and equipment of two vocational training schools in Coyah and Dabola, the training of trainers and the establishment of a framework for collaboration between training schools and Sector partners.
