Tender Details

NOI Construction Directory for major works - open to new suppliers

In August 2018, the Ministry of Education established a national panel of suppliers (Construction Directory) that prequalifies main contractors for the Ministry's school construction contracts over $500, 000. The programme includes construction projects that are funded and delivered by the Ministry and typically relate to projects for:

- New schools

- School rebuilds, refurbishments and redevelopments

- Roll Growth projects

- Weathertightness and structural strengthening projects

- Prefabricated or modular solutions

Works to be delivered through the Directory is anticipated to have a value of approximately $250m per annum.

The Ministry intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on GETS in February 2019 to invite new suppliers to apply to join the Construction Directory and existing suppliers to increase their scope of delivery. The closing date for submissions is intended to be 18 March 2019.

The Ministry will hold a number of Market Engagement sessions to help suppliers understand the opportunity and the submission requirements in late January/ early February 2019. If you are interested in attending a market engagement session please register your interest by emailing;
