In order for the hospital to be able to fulfill its performance mandate in the future and to ensure the security of supply for children and adolescents, the foundation plans to build a new building in zuerich-lengg. The nethe children's hospital will be of great importance at the cantonal and national level in the care of children and adolescents. It fits seamlessly into the strategy of the canton to strengthen the location of zurich in specialized and highly specialized medicine and in competition. The children's hospital zuerich has a rich academic as a university children's hospitaltradition in teaching and research.
