Tender Details

The Defence (Ministry of Defence and New Zealand Defence Force) has a need for a tactical and networked enabled system of systems consisting of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for the New Zealand Army. The ISR EW systems are to enhance the New Zealand Army decision making cycle, and provide Land Forces and Special Operational Forces with increased Situational Awareness (SA), and improved Force Protection.



This RFI is seeking Responses from Suppliers that have the requisite skills, knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive and reliable responses to the high level scope being presented. Defence expects Respondents to have an in depth knowledge of:

• Modern ISR and EW capabilities to support ISR collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination in an operational environment.

• Open architecture software in order to establish true interoperability in a Joint Interagency and Multinational environment.



This Request for Information (RFI) is a market research tool and does not initiate a procurement process. The RFI process will not be used to select or shortlist suppliers, it is simply intended to solicit feedback from industry with respect to the subject matter described in this RFI. Respondents information will be used to inform Defence of current market information and assist in the continued development of user requirements in respect of Defence`s general procurement need.
