Description: Along the line 600, between Immensee and Arth Goldau, many natural processes endanger the operation of SBB on an important feeder route to the Gotthard Base Tunnel. A corresponding number of protective structures already exist along the route, which are regularly checked and maintained by the SBB. Despite the many measures and regular controls, there is still a risk deficit. For this reason, a detailed hazard and risk assessment was developed. Various measures against fall processes, 2 hydraulic engineering measures, as well as a renovation of the street due to slipping events are planned. As part of this project, monitoring sensors will be installed on some protective networks. In addition, fall protection is installed at the relevant points in the context of this project.
