The project's key object is to continue strengthening the capacity of NEC to undertake institutional and legislative reforms and execute the necessary measures to ensure that NEC, as the electoral management body has the ability to preside over and deliver free, fair and credible democratic elections for Liberia.After the 2017 general elections national and international observer groups issued recommendations aimed at building a resilient and effective electoral framework. Key recommendations call for electoral reform to institute electoral best practices in Liberia.
