National Consultant - Trainer in Financial and Budget Management
In Algeria, the constitutional revision in 2008 allowed the adoption of a new organic law on the modalities increasing the chances of access to the elected assemblies (January 2012) of women. It is in this spirit and in accordance with the plan of project "Supporting the effective and sustainable participation of women in elected assemblies", which the MICLAT and theUnited Nations Development Program (UNDP) launched in 2015 and 2016 a cycle of capacity building sessions for locally elected women in (12) pilot wilayas. The cycle targeted more than 800 women elected from the wilayas concerned and was a great success among the elected representatives. The objective of this capacity building is, throughThis support to women politicians, improve the management, governance and representativeness of local communities.
