This scheme is located 8km west of kenmare town on the n70 ring of kerry route within the 100kph speed limit. The scheme extents for over a distance of 900m. The proposed works will involve excavation and fill of a section of the scheme (300 approx) along with a bituminous pavement overlay over the entire of the scheme including the drainage works, watermain replacement, accommodation works and the application of road markings and installation of road studs.
