Mongolia - municipal waste collection and transportation management in ulaanbaatar (wctm) - first phase (01.01.2019 - 31.12.2022)
through an open tender of one-step process, sdc will select one bidder who will qualify as an implementing partner of the municipal wctm in ulaanbaatar. Hereby, sdc invites organizations or consortia to elaborate the project document for the 1st phase and submit bids for managing this project in mongolia. Based on the competitiveness of the submitted bids, sdc will selectand award one bidder with a mandate for the 1st phase. Overall goal of the project: ger area residents in ub live in a cleaner and healthier environment as waste collection and transportation management is effective, cost-efficient and benefiting all. Expected outcomes: 1) improved service quality and effectiveness in waste collection and transportation in selected districts 2) improved financial sustainability and efficiency of waste management 3) effective regulations for the implementation of new law are in place. This project will start with a 1st phase for 4 years 2019-2022 with a possible exit phase 2023-2024
