this is a sources sought notice for market research only to determine the availability of firms to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy for two separate mmrp projects. No award will be made from this sources sought. Any technical documents are available on fbo; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation from the government pocs. Potential offerors having the skill, capabilities and bonding necessary to perform the described project are invited to provide feedback via email to daniel czech at daniel.e.czech@usace.army.mil and jennifer sarraga at jennifer.r.sarraga@usace.army.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.

Particularly, the purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential business sources for both the 1. Mgrc mrs 01, "bombing target", surface plus sub-surface removal of military munitions and the 2. Mgrc mrs-05, "bombing range #73", surface removal of military munitions projects. The capabilities will be evaluated to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy. All size-statuses are encouraged to respond to this notice. The government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of available contractors.

Both projects are planned for advertising in winter 2019.

The resulting contract type is expected to be a firm-fixed price.

The naics code for both projects is 562910, the size standard is 750 employees, and the product service code for both projects is b510, environmental assessments.

Under federal acquisition regulation (far) guidelines 52.219-14, any small business concern will perform at least 50% of the cost of the contract incurred for personnel, if this action is set aside.
