Description
NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003, ATTN: DJ Neal. Physical Address for hand carried bids: Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO, 80538.
The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes Removal of four single-phase transformers and associated hardware, remove two reactor base and hardware, remove one power circuit breaker, provide foundation, conduit, conductor and cables for the new 200 MVA transformer, install ground fault detection system and tertiary, upgrade one 115-kV bay including three disconnect switches. The work is located near Colorado Springs, Colorado. The estimated completion date is within 270 days. The estimated order of magnitude is between $1, 000, 000 and $5, 000, 000. FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $39.5 Million.
