Tender Details

Expression of Interest are invited for Mauritania - Impact Evaluation Surveys for Shock-Response Cash Transfers for Droughts

The World Bank is seeking to commission a Baseline survey and High Frequency Data surveys (HFD) for an impact evaluation (IE) on drought-related shock-response cash transfers. The objective of this consultancy is to collect a baseline, followed by a set of 12 monthly HFD for a subset of households (both through electronic data collection); and deliver high-quality and comprehensive datasets to the IE team. Both will include questions on geocoordinates, household composition, socio-economic status, well-being, assets, shocks, food/non-food consumption, etc. The surveys will target household heads, including specific groups such as women. The baseline survey is expected to start in November 2021, and the HFD in January 2022, provided COVID-19 guidelines are respected. Previous experience carrying out household surveys for impact evaluation with 5000+ respondents must be demonstrated.

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
