Expression of Interest are invited for Mapping Social Networks and Community Strategies for Risk Management in Southern Madagascar.
This study aims to provide a deep description and understanding of informal institutions and social networks that support resilience and coping strategies for communities in the South of Madagascar against both covariate and idiosyncratic shockse.g. natural hazards, violence, death of breadwinner, famine, etc. The study will identify the roles, dynamics, and relationships that exist among these informal groupings and the interaction between the formal and informal. The outputs of the study should identify approaches to strengthen communities risk management strategies through local development programming that focuses on responsive local governance, social inclusion and cohesion, sustainable livelihoods, and effective adaptation to climate change and other risks.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
