Tenders are invited for Mapping And Size Estimation Of Female Sex Workers (Fsw) And Integrated Bio-Behavioural Surveillance Survey.

HIV prevalence among female sex workers (FSW) is 7% and is several times higher than that of the general copulation (1.7%), underscoring its potential to influence is bridging populations a rapid expansion of the epidemic in the general population. The National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan (NSP) 2016-2020 prioritises prevention, treatment and care programmes for key affected populations (KPs) and indicate the conduct of integrated Bio-behavioural surveillance surveys (IBBSS) conducted among KP populations every three to four years, this round (3rd) of the FSW IBBSS is a follow-on to the previous one carried out in 2011 and 2015.Funding for the study is from the Global Fund with WAPCAS as the Principal Recipient and implementing institution and SAC providing coordination and technical oversight pursuant to its mandate.
