Tender Details

Below are answers to questions from interested vendors. These are the final questions accepted.

Please share the current make and model of units currently and what type of odor control (sic) units are already installed at the northport va medical center? the current dispensers will be removed by the vendor. The current dispenser to be removed is called the summer breeze by rubbermaid-model fg4870157.

Can you explain why the current units must be replaced? the units are not owned by the va. The original owner can reclaim the units. They are older units and falling into disrepair. New would be easier to manage and maintain.

Please provide the incumbent provider of maintenance. This is a new requirement.

Please provide contract value for current year. This is a new requirement.

New contract allows for 100 new units to be rented. Will all 100 units have to be installed and functional by 1st of contract? 100 units total. All of the units are falling into disrepair and need to be replaced in a timely manner.

From a servicing perspective, will our technicians need a ladder taller than 6 in order to safely service the unit? a 6 ladder is sufficient.

No more questions shall be accepted after this posting.

The closing date will be extended to close december 3 at 10:00am est.
