Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Lump Sum Contract for the Preparation of as-Built, Proposed Drawings, Estimated Cost and Boq for Budaiya Harbor.

Prepare As-built drawings which include:
• Location plan
• Site plan
• Existing building Floor plans
• Schedule of doors and windows
• Schedule of finishes with specifications
and sample
• Four side elevations for each block
• Two cross elevation sections for each
block
• Marine Structures and Decks with
detailing if required
• Storm water layout
• Quay Walls and detailing if available
• Rock Armour revetment with detailing if
required
• Drainage and storm water layout
• Slipway with detailing if required
• Water tank tower with detailing
• Boundary walls/Fencing and gates with
detailing
• Parking shade and canopy with detailing
• Manholes, septic tank, existing
sewerage, soak away and drainage
chambers with detailing
• Detailed cross section drawings of toilets
and kitchens
• Reflected Ceiling plans
• Electrical plans (including ELV systems
like Tel/Data, Fire Alarm system, PA
system etc.)
• Electromechanical External Services
layout
• Mechanical Plans
• Schedule of equipment (water tank,
water pump, water cooler, water heater,
Exhaust Fans together with drawing
showing location.
• Provide drawings for existing water
supply system from the water meter to
the building distribution.
• Provide LPG lines drawings layout
• Prepare schematic diagrams for Main
and Sub Main panels
• Prepare Distribution Boards (DB)
schedule.

Prepare the proposed Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance works drawings which include proposed detailed Civil, Electrical and Mechanical maintenance works plans (Showing scope in drawings as instructed by BMD Planner). Note: all proposed drawings shall not show any brand, only to provide specifications.

How to Participate

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender are able to get the Tender Documents online through the Internal tender services Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (works Affairs) website or the Bahrain e-Government - (https://www.bahrain.bh) starting from advertising date.

Contractors should have a valid qualification license and registered with Cost Engineering Directorate in the Ministry of works, municipalities and urban planning and have commercial register in the same field. (Only for contractors and projects listed by the Category mentioned above.

The tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.

As per the cabinet edicts no.s (6-2416) of 2017 and ( 4-2516) of 2019, registered SME-s will be offered a preference of 10% in tenders and auctions related to service utilities inside purchasing authority premises. In case there is another applicable preference percentage, the higher of them will be offered to SME's.

The bids should be deposited in the tender box at the Tender unit at 6th floor New Building, Ministry of Works municipalities Affairs and Planning -as per the above mentioned date.
