Tender Details

At present a requirement exists for the supply, installation, commissioning of an ladcp on the rv celtic explorer that will lead to a continuous supply of high accuracy, high-quality ladcp full-depth velocity profile measuring on-board system. To achieve this, a complete end-to-end ladcp system along with the necessary ctd rosette extension frame, rechargeable oil filled batteries, computer equipment and software required to process and qc acquired data, chargers etc. Including amp meter needed during ladcp operations is required. The ladcp data collected by the system must be guaranteed to meet the highest quality ladcp data standards (i.e. Go-ship standards). The winning tenderer will supply a new fully operational high-quality ladcp system on board the rv celtic explorer that consists of an upward adcp (300 khz) and downward adcp (150 khz) and all additional components for an operational end-to-end system including a bottom ctd rosette extension frame. Power supplies and data acquisition computers x2, a primary and a spare must be provided with a processor capacity minimum of 3.9ghz 8mb cache, minimum memory of 16 gb, minimum ssd of 1.6tb, and cables x2 (primary and spare) as well as other necessary tools and supplies.
