Long-Term Technical Assistance to the Support to the Livestock sector in the Northern Communal Areas of Namibia.
To provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry of the Government of Namibia and to relevant partner organisations from the private sector and civil society, for the promotion of the livestock sector in the Namibian Northern Communal Areas. Long and short term technical assistance would be required for the design and management of; a) monitoring and information systems; b) applied research, extension, mentoring and capacity building services; c) market promotion and marketing; d) animal health; e) programme administration.
