Local Consultant - Compliance Analyst for International Conventions
In October 2011, the Government of the Republic of Paraguay and UNODC signed an agreement for the implementation of an Integrated National Program (PNI), developed between 2011 and 2016. Since 2017, with support from the Federal Republic of Germany, UNODC implements the Transparency and Anticorruption (TAC) program to increase response capacity, effectivenessand efficiency of the Paraguayan State to face the challenges posed in the country by corruption and punishable acts related to it. To strengthen the capacity of the Government of Paraguay, given these challenges, the TAC program establishes strategic guidelines for the provision of technical assistance from UNODC, focusing on two main areas of work.them: transparency in public management, and the prevention and prosecution of corruption. In November 2018, the Transparency and Anticorruption program was extended from January 1 to June 30, 2019OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTANCY The purpose of the consultancy is to carry out an analysis of the country situation within the framework of compliance with the Recommendationson UNCAC / OAS Anti-Corruption, and the compilation of all the documents of the conventions, and their conclusions.
