INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The Municipal Government of San Sebastian, through the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites interested parties to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:
1. Name of Project : Local Access Road - AM 2018 (Road Concreting)
Project Location : Barangay Camanhagay to Poblacion 1 & Dolores to Hitaasan, San Sebastian, Samar.
Approved Budget for the Contract : Php. 6, 157, 313.00
Contract Duration : 120 Days
Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar project within the last two (2) years with an amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the proposed project for bidding, and have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the project. The Eligibility Checking of bids shall use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria. Post-qualification of the Lowest Calculated Bid shall be conducted.
All participants relative to eligibility statement and screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bidding conference, evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).
The schedule of BAC activities is as follows;
BAC ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE
1. Issuance of Bid Documents July 20, 2018
2. Pre-bid Conference July 27, 2018 @ 10am
3. Deadline of Submission and Opening of Bids August 10, 2018 @ 9am, open @ 10am
4. Bid Evaluation August 15, 2018
5. Post -Qualification August 20, 2018
6. Notice of Award August 23, 2018
Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon presentation of a Letter of Intent addressed to the BAC Chairman and payment of a non-refundable amount of Ten Thousand Pesos (Php.10, 000.00) each.
Bidding documents can be secured from BAC secretariat on the date stipulated, between 9:00AM to 11:00AM and 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
The BAC reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all defects in the bids received, or to accept such bids as maybe considered most advantageous to the Municipal Government. The BAC assumes no obligations whatsoever to compensate or indemnify the bidders for any expenses that they will incur in the preparation of the technical proposals nor does the BAC guarantee that an award will be made. The decision of the BAC shall be final and binding.
