The Sports Development Foundation (SDF) now invites sealed bids from eligible CONTRACTORS for:
The Proposed Sports Lighting of Playfield and Multi-purpose court at Wilson Shop Sports Complex, Alexandria, St. Ann

DESCRIPTION & DURATION OF WORKS
Wilson Shop Sports Complex Lighting 3 Months
The establishment of lights for the Playfield and Multipurpose court

ELIGIBILITY
It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the National Contracts Commission in the category of "Electrical Works" Grade 2 and above

All bidders must be Tax Compliant at the bid opening. Bidding will be in accordance with tender procedures and guidelines specified in the Revised Handbook of Public Sector Procurement Procedures (March 2014)

AVAILABILITY OF BID DOCUMENTS:
Eligible bidders can obtain tender Document as of Monday, February 17, 2020 to Wednesday, March 4, 2020 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm at the office of SDF 31 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10. A non-refundable fee of Five Thousand Dollars ($5, 000.00) in cash will be required for each set of tender documents.

All queries concerning the Tender document/drawings shall be made in writing to the General Manager Sports Development Foundation, 31 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:
The Tender/s along with the required documents, i.e. NCC certificate of registration, a valid TCC/TCL and Tender Bond, are to be placed in a seal envelope and placed in the designated tender box located in the receptionist area of the SDF office, 31 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10 on or before 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2020. Late Bids will be rejected

OPENING OF TENDERS:
Tender envelopes will be opened publicly on Friday March 6, 2020 in the conference room at the SDF 31 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10 at 11:15 a.m.

After evaluation of these documents by the evaluating committee and subsequent referral to the appropriate authorities for approval, the successful contractor will be accordingly notified.

SDF is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and also reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point before the award of a contract without incurring liability to any of the bidders. (BIDDERS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE CONTRACT IS FIXED AND NOT SUBJECT TO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS)
