Description: Notice is hereby given by Government of Yukon, Highways and Public Works, of its intent to contract with WWT4 to provide the following services:Supply and installation of iLaws. Legislative Drafting and Publishing System featuring Language switching and editing. Conversion of all the pre-existing Yukon regulations into the new iLAWS template format. iLAWS is the only known Legislative Drafting and Publishing Work-flow System that meets the mandatory requirements of: Legislative Drafting and Publishing System, drafting in Microsoft Word, not XML. Format and produce legislation in both official languages (English-French) Word featuring Language switching and editing. Must output into multiple formats (PDF, Word, XML). Vendor must have experience of drafting legislation environment in a Commonwealth country. Format the Yukon crest as a font to prevent unauthorized drafting and other specifications include:Configurable for Yukon s drafting format and layout style which includes items such as header, part, division, section, subsection, explanatory notes. The drafting version is completely styles-based and template driven and must allow for over-rides of styles rules.Language (English-French) switching and editing, and display of single or dual-language legislation;The document model and creation of file/folder structure must be automatic.Work on a Windows based desktop using Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit), Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit), Office 2010 and Office 2016.Data conversion of all the current Yukon Acts and of all Yukon regulations from Quark or PDF.Include automatic formatting options (i.e. tables of contents must update automatically as changes occur in the drafting process.)During the document creation process, standard fields must be populated using dialog boxes with free text entry or editable drop down/pick lists. Field examples include legislation title (entered as free text), name of the member proposing the legislation (selected from editable pick list) and the year.Insertion and deletion of document sections are inserted via menu commands (i.e. Cover, TOC, Body, Schedule and Endnotes).When copying text from an external source and pasting it into the solution, the added text must automatically adopt the correct formatting.Document structure and formatting must be automatically checked for inconsistencies.The document version control must be via menu commands.When the numbering of provisions changes, cross references must be updated automatically.Navigate with multiple user options (Ex. Hot keys, icons and menus with multiple page set up and layout options).Include a built-in document compare feature or be compatible with Microsoft Word document compare or Workshare Compare.Include a built-in Track Changes feature or be compatible with Microsoft ...
