Description : For the past several years, the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) has retained the services of a private law firm to undertake prosecutions of provincial statutes and municipal by-laws in Summary Offence night Court. Pursuant to CBRM Council's Purchasing Policy, CBRM tenders some contracts for the supply of goods and services on a regular basis. It is Council's policy to ensure, in all instances where CBRM contracts for services, that all such contracts are reviewed on a periodic basis and those proposals be regularly requested from the open market. In this RFP Municipality means the Cape Breton Regional Municipality or CBRM and Proponent means the law firm responding to this Request for Proposals.
