Support for the Health Systems Strengthening for the Prevention and Care Management of the Non-Communicable Diseases Programme

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business.

2. The Government of Jamaica has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank towards the cost of the Support for the Health Systems Strengthening for the Prevention and Care Management of the Non-Communicable Diseases Programme, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Laundry Equipment.

3. The Ministry of health & Wellness now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Laundry Equipment-Hospital Washer, Dryers, Flatwork Ironer, Gas Water Heater, Topper and Legger, Water Storage Tank, Pressure Tank and Pump.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank-s Policies for the Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Policies.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Health & Wellness, The Procurement Management Specialist, fritht@moh.gov.jm.

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English is available at no cost to interested bidders on the Government of Jamaica e-procurement system.

7. Bids are to be submitted electronically on the Government of Jamaica e-Procurement system by 2 p.m., January, 27, 2020. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened online at 2:15 p.m., January 27, 2020. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of United States Two Thousand and Sixty -Two Dollars and Fifty Cents (US$2, 062.50) or Two Hundred and Eighty-Four Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty-Five Jamaican Dollars (J$284, 625.00).
