Description : The main purpose of this regional evaluation is to contribute to enhancing UN Women`s approach to increase women´s economic empowerment in the Americas and the Caribbean region. The findings of this regional evaluation will be used for strategic policy and programmatic decisions, organisational learning and accountability as well as for the identification of good practices addressing the structural impediments to gender equality and the women`s economic empowerment. The evaluation is also expected to feed into UN Women`s efforts to promote 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
