Prophylactic Knee Braces designed to prevent or reduce the risk of knee injury for individuals who are engaged in "high risk" activities, such as contact sports; 2. Rehabilitative Knee Braces used during the rehabilitation of the knee joint to protect and control the range of motion following an injury or surgery; 3. Functional Knee Braces designed to provide stability for unstable knees; 4. Unloader Knee Braces designed to decrease compressive forces across the tibiofemoral joint and decrease arthritic pain; and 5. Patellofemoral Knee Braces designed to improve patellar tracking and relieve anterior knee pain.
