Description : UNFPA wishes to contract two molecular diagnostic equipment for the detection of sexually transmitted infections, specifically: chlamydia and gonorrhea. The equipment must include all the supplies, accessories and services necessary for its proper functioning.

UNFPA will acquire 5, 200 disposable kits containing all the reagents required to determine the existence of pathogens in molecular analysis. The kits should coHave the reagent in cartridge form, buffer, other reagents and enzymes and other accessories required to analyze the samples.

UNFPA will acquire 5, 200 swabs for collection of anal sample. Sample collection swabs must have a plastic shaft or of wire and a point of rayon, dacron or cytobrush. Other materials can inhibit the growth of pathogens.

Commodity equipment, swabs and kits shouldcomply with the specifications indicated in Section II - Technical specifications and list of requirements.
