the regional district of north okanagan invites tenders for the decommissioning of the dnd reservoir located on allan brooks way, just northeast of the allan brooks nature centre, in vernon, bc. the work generally includes decommissioning the reservoir and installing new watermain within commonage crescent. a summary of specific work items includes the following:

.decommissioning of existing 660m3 water reservoir, and altitude chamber;

.disconnection of bc hydro service to the reservoir site;

.removal of small building directly to the se of existing reservoir;

.installation of 60 meters 200 mm diameter watermain at the reservoir site;

.installation of 225 meters of 200 mm diameter watermain in commonage crescent;

.installation of 40 meters of 150 mm diameter watermain in commonage crescent; and

.restoration of existing infrastructure and vegetation.
