Invitation to Bid for the Supply and Delivery of One Unit Motorized Banca for MDRRMO use



1. The Municipality of Daanbantayan, through the DRRM Current and Continuing 2018 intends to apply the sum of Three Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (P 367, 800.00) being the Approved Budget for

the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically

rejected at bid opening.

2. The Municipality of Daanbantayan now invites bids for Supply and Delivery of MDRRMO Rescue Life Saving

Equipment One Unit Motorized Banca for MDRRMO use. Delivery of the Goods is required fifteen (15) days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders

should have completed, within seven (7 days) from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract

similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents,

particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail-

criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA)

9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.



4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Daanbantayan and inspect the

Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders on March 1, 2019 from the

address below:

Bid documents fee of Five Hundred Pesos (P 500.00) shall be paid at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer,

Ground Floor, Municipal Building, Municipality of Daanbantayan.

It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic

Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that Bidders shall pay the

applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.

6. The Municipality of Daanbantayan will hold a Pre-Bid Conference2 on March 8, 2019 at the Office of the Bids

and Awards Committee, which shall be open to prospective bidders.

7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below on or before March 21, 2019 at 1:30

in the afternoon. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the

amount stated in ITB Clause 18.

Bid opening shall be on March 21, 2019 at 2:00 in the afternoon (municipal bundy clock) at the Office of the

Bids and Awards Committee, Second Floor, Municipal Building, Municipality of Daanbantayan. Bids will be

opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids

shall not be accepted.

8. The bidders shall drop their duly accomplished eligibility and technical documents in the bid box marked with

-œeligibility documents- and financial proposals in the bid box marked with -œfinancial document/proposals-

located at the above-mentioned address, in properly sealed and marked envelopes (one original and two

duplicate copies) as specified in Clause 20 of Instruction to Bidders. Furthermore, financial proposal shall be

accomplished and submitted for each item/project.

9. The Municipal Government of Daanbantayan, Cebu reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a

failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section

41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability...
