Description : 1. The Department of National Defense/Armed Forces of the Philippines (DND/AFP) intends to apply the sum of Five Hundred Seventy Five Million Pesos (PhP575, 000, 000.00) for the procurement of Twenty-Three Thousand (23, 000) each of Ballistic Helmet with Ballistic Eyewear (Lot 1) and One Billion Seven Hundred Sixty-Six Million Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP1, 766, 400, 000.00) for the procurement of Twenty-Three Thousand (23, 000) each of Body Armor, Philippine Army (Lot 2) being the ABC to payments under the contract for each lot. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
2. The DND/AFP now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Delivery of the Goods are stated in Section VI (Schedule of Requirements). Bidders should have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).
