INVITATION TO TENDER
Installation of LED Lighting and Occupancy Sensors NHT Head Office
RFP#: 2018-03-27/AL-01

The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites qualified contractors to submit bids to undertake installation of LED lighting and occupancy sensors at the NHT's Corporate Office, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5.

SCOPE OF WORKS:
The contractor will be required to undertake:
Removal of existing fluorescent light fixtures
Installation of LED lighting fixtures
Installation of occupancy (motion) sensors

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Tenderers must provide:
Evidence of tax compliance.
A copy of a valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certificate with a minimum Grade 2 in the category of Electrical Works.

N.B. Tender Security in the amount of J$240, 000.00 is required.

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
Tender documents can be collected from the Procurement Unit, The Michael Manley Building, 4 Park Boulevard, Kingston 5, on the payment of a non-refundable fee of $3, 000.00 (payable in cash or Manager's Cheque at the NHT Cashier Head Office). Documents will be made available from Tuesday, April 30, 2019, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

"Note: Failure to directly purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process."

RETURN OF DOCUMENTS:
Sealed bids are to be placed in the designated tender box labelled, "Installation of LED Lighting and Occupancy Sensors NHT Head Office", located in the Procurement Unit on or before 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019.

The opening of the bids will follow immediately after the bid submission deadline in the Procurement and Stores Meeting Room, National Housing Trust Head Office Building.
