Tender More Details : The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites qualified contractors to submit tenders to undertake civil infrastructure works for the support of 163 residential lots at the Anchovy Housing Development, St. James.

LOCATION:
The site is approximately 11.2 kilometres south-west of Montego Bay Town Centre and shares a common boundary with the Anchovy High School.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS:

The successful contractor will be required to undertake infrastructure works, which includes:
• Roads
• Storm water drainage system
• Water distribution system
• Sewage network system and waste water treatment system

ELIGIBILITY FOR TENDER
Tenderers must provide:
? Evidence of tax compliance.
? A copy of a valid NCC registration certificate with a Grade 1 rating in the category of Civil Engineering Works.

NB: A tender bond stamped by the Commissioner of Stamp Duty in the amount of JA$4, 500, 000.00 is required.

COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS:
? Bidding Documents may be collected from the Procurement Unit, Ground Floor, National Housing Trust, The Michael Manley Building, 4
Park Boulevard, Kingston 5. Documents will be available as of Tuesday, February 5, 2019 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
? Bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of $4, 500.00 (inclusive of GCT) for each document. Payment should be made in cash
or manager's cheque at the NHT's Head Office.

NB: Pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

Note: Failure to directly purchase the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process."

RETURN OF TENDERS:
? Sealed bids are to be placed in the designated tender box labelled "Infrastructure Works for Anchovy Housing Development, St. James"
located in the NHT's Procurement Unit on or before 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.
? The public opening of the bids will immediately follow in the Construction & Development Conference Room (Ground Floor), National
Housing Trust Head Office Building.

The NHT reserves the right not to award a contract to any party with whom it is currently in litigation or with whom it has been previously involved in litigation.
