The goal of the WBG-s Information Technology Solutions (ITS) department is to provide fast, flexible and friendly business solutions for staff and WBG clients to modernize its operating model and to improve value to business. To achieve this goal, ITS has begun to eschew the costly maintenance of custom-built systems in favor of implementing more agile cloud-based systems.
Over the past three years, ITS has implemented major enterprise World Bank Group systems - Microsoft Office collaboration tools, Vendor Management System, Career and Recruitment Portal, as well as business specific systems used by Finance and Treasury, Enterprise Architecture, Library and Archives, etc. The pace at which WBG technology is implemented will continue to increase as older, on-premise systems are retired and replaced with more efficient web-based solutions.
To prepare WBG staff for these frequent technology changes, ITS- Change Management and Learning team (referred to as “ITSAL”) is responsible for creating learning and performance support solutions for WBG business systems.
ITSAL seeks an in-workflow learning solution (referred to as “solution”) for WBG proprietary and 3rd party (cloud-based) systems. The multi-tenant business systems solution will enable end users to access just-in-time, interactive, contextual performance and learning support in a live system.
