Tenders are invited for Improvements to Pallikudiyiruppu Roads in Muthur Divisional Secretariat Division of Trincomalee District in Eastern Province.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application
to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee as stated in Column No - (2). The method of
payment should be by cash. Bids shall be issued from 21.09.2021 to 18.10.2021 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on normal
working days at the address above.

Bidders who are interested to purchase the bidding documents and unable to come in person to collect due to
unavoidable circumstances (Covid-19 situation) after depositing the non-refundable fee, in the bank account "BOC
TYincomalee Super Grade Branch, Account Number - 83101385”, requested to send through email the digital payment
receipt to the official email: ridepep@gmail.com to obtain the bidding documents to their emails.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the r-nnHitkms of Contract are the provisions of the
Standard Bidding Documents under Japanese ODA Loans Jent of Small Works-April 2013, version 1.1.
Sealed original and duplicate bids should be in separate envelopes and marked "Bids for Contract No.--------------
(As per the above Table 1)” on the top left-hand corner, and sent by Registered post to the "The Chief Secretary/
Chairman, Chief Secretary's Procurement Committee, Secretariat of the Chief Secretary, Eastern Provincial
Council Complex, Kanniya Road, Varothaya Nagar, Trincomalee" or may be deposited in the tender box available
at the Office of the Chief Secretary at or before 2.00 p.m on 21.10.2021 and bids must be accompanied by a bid
security as per the above Column No. (3) of Table (1). The form of the Bid Security shall be an unconditional
guarantee issued by a Bank registered & authorized by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Late Bids will be rejected.
