The national aeronautics and space administration (nasa) lyndon b. Johnson space center (jsc) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the follow-on acquisition (to mission and program integration (mapi) contract #nnj12ga46c), entitled "human space flight technical integration contract (hsftic)." hsftic will provide products and services required to support technical integration and the necessary infrastructure operation functions for the agency's human space flight mission related programs, including the international space station (iss), orion, and gateway, with the potential of including other nasa and non-nasa programs or projects via indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (id/iq). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
The current mapi statement of work (sow) and other pertinent documents are located at the procurement website: http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/hsftic . It is anticipated that the scope of work for hsftic will be similar to the current mapi sow but for multiple programs.
