Background

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world`s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.

The WFP Facilities Management Branch seeks to purchase diesel generators 650kVA/520 kW (qty:2) and related electrical panels and diesel tanks for the World Food Programme Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The generators will be installed as standby backup power source in case of failure of the power grid.

WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the subject goods.

The purpose of this EOI
