Background
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
In recognition of the potential impact of social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) on the effectiveness of interventions for nutrition, health and livelihoods, WFP is continuing to scale up the integration of SBCC as an integral component of its humanitarian and development operations worldwide.
WFP is currently seeking qualified organizations to support and enhance its global SBCC portfolio with expertise and demonstrated experience in delivering high quality results in one or more of the following areas:
Design and carrying out formative research to inform the design of SBCC strategies
Design and implementation of theory- and evidence-based SBCC strategies
Development and implementation of mixed method SBCC frameworks for monitoring and evaluating outcomes and impact
Design mixed media SBCC materials using participatory methods
Development and implementation of capacity strengthening programmes for government and non-government partners.
