This EOI seeks responses from suitably qualified proponents who have the capability to operate Smart Batteries as part of a Virtual Power Plant, either on their own or as a part of a consortium. The Department is also seeking responses from proponents who can demonstrate how other Smart Devices in homes and small businesses could deliver orchestrated demand response services. The Department would also like to gather market input on the design of the program and the Program Partner requirements as set out in this EOI. This EOI is undertaken for information gathering purposes only and will not lead to a contract award.
