Tender Details

The 2 Junior classrooms located in Block A are old dated cold and draughty 1950's high stud Classrooms, that require modernisation.

This project is to undertake an ILE upgrade to the two A Block classrooms and create a new library nook to the back of the multi-purpose space (Block I) to house the books to be relocated from the existing library space.

The work to be undertaken in the two A Block classrooms will be to remove a section of the adjoining wall to create a shared breakout space while still retained a section of the existing resource room for storage purposes. The shared breakout space will have glass sliders for visibility and the potential to open up between the classrooms to allow for collaborative teaching. The deck directly outside the two classrooms will be extended over the old and crumbling concrete steps to create a functional learning deck to be accessed off both classrooms. The classrooms will also receive new carpet, Autex to the walls, an acoustic ceiling an upgrade to LED lighting and the provision of double glazed window joinery.
