Tenders are invited for Grange Hill Primary School Expansion - Westmoreland - (#073604) .

The Government of Jamaica has received funding from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in the amount of USD $8, 948, 000 and GOJ counterpart funding of USD 1, 151, 125 towards the cost of the Basic Needs Trust Fund Ninth Cycle (BNTF 9). The Jamaica Social Investment Fund as the implementing agency intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover payments under contracts for which this invitation is issued.
Bid # 11898: Grange Hill Primary School Expansion - Westmoreland - (#073604)
The worksworks include but are not limited to the design and construction of an 8-classroom block with bathrooms and associated tertiary sewer system. The project will also involve establishing a partitioned guidance counselor office and sickbay. The construction methodology that will be used is reinforced concrete quick-erect building solutions to address these needs. The new block will need to be termite treated.
The design build contractor will be expected to provide preliminary design services, work in tandem with the design build contractor to ensure design satisfies all approval requirements, undertake a design review of the design that have been completed by the design build contractor, assist with external agency approval and undertake the necessary civil works for the project . Project period is twenty-One (21) months.
