Expression of Interest are invited for Grand Tunis Drinking Water Supply Master Plan Development Project - Phase 1: selection of a shortlist.

1. As part of the development of the drinking water supply master plan for Greater Tunis, the National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) is considering the hiring of a Consulting Engineer (design office or group of consultancies) under study aimed at establishing the master plan for the production, distribution and distribution systems of drinking water in the Greater Tunis region by 2050.

2. SONEDE received a donation from the French Development Agency “AFD” to finance this study (partial funding).

3. SONEDE intends to launch a restricted call for tenders in two stages to study and establish the master plan for the production, distribution and distribution systems of drinking water in the Greater Tunis region on the horizon. 2050:
• 1st step: Notice of expression of interest for the selection of a shortlist of candidates (six candidates maximum).
• 2nd step: Transmission of the request for proposal and Invitation of shortlisted candidates to present their offers.
This study will include the following missions:
◦ Collection and analysis of data and diagnosis of the current functioning of the Networks;
• Definition of an urgent phase of the works of the existing networks;
• Basic socio-demographic and town planning data - Assessment of
future water needs,
• Establishment of scenarios for strengthening water resources;
• Establishment of the master plan of the production, distribution and distribution networks and determination of the various phases of implementation.
• Preliminary study of the remote management of the distribution and distribution network of Greater Tunis.
