ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The focus of the assignment is to develop a report on Data Analytics Providers that support the credit underwriting and risk management functions of traditional and non-traditional creditors. A Data Analytics Provider, for the purposes of this study, is defined as an entity that is engaged in gathering, selecting, processing, transforming, mining, evaluating and interpreting data and providing either data or information to creditors to support their credit underwriting and credit risk management processes. The objective is to cast a wide survey (potentially online) to data analytics providers with an aim to understand the following aspects:
1.Broad classification of data analytics providers based on size, clients, markets served etc.
2.Key products and services offered (and demanded).
3.Key clients of data analytics providers.
4.Common data sources including methods of access and challenges to access.
5.Processes for collecting, handling, transforming data and any related challenges.
